DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, August 2nd\, neighborhoods throughout Irmo are being invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the "33rd Annual National Night Out" (NNO) crime and drug prevention event.  National Night Out\, which is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and co-sponsored locally by the Irmo Police Department\, will involve over 16\,728 communities from all 50 states\, U.S. territories\, Canadian cities and military bases around the world.  In all\, 38.3 million people are expected to participate in 'America's Night Out Against Crime'.

LOCATION:From 6 to 9p.m.\, on August 2nd\, residents in neighborhoods throughout Irmo are asked to join the Irmo Police Department at the Community Park of Irmo\, and enjoy a hot dog cookout with police officers. The address to the park is 7507 Eastview Drive\, Irmo\, S.C. 29063 which can be accessed from Church Street (across from Frank's Car Wash) and/or from Eastview Drive (near the CVS Pharmacy at Lake Murray Blvd & College Street).
