SUMMARY:Chamber Members Health Screening
DESCRIPTION:Lexington Medical Center will be providing a FREE health screening on Monday\, August 17\, 2015 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.  There will be limited spots available and you will need to schedule your time in advance by calling our office to reserve your spot at (803) 749-9355. \n\n\n\nThe screening is open to the public. If you schedule a screening\, make sure to not eat or drink (except water) 12 hours prior to your scheduled screening time.  You are allowed to take any medications as usual.  (Also\, please DRINK WATER prior to your screening to avoid dehydrated veins.)\n\n\n\nAll participants will receive their screening results via confidential mail and/or telephone call. We strongly encourage participant with abnormal results to follow up with a physician.  In addition to the FREE screening\, you can also request a thyroid profile (screen to detect thyroid abnormalities) for a cost of $32 and a Vitamin D level (Detecting deficiency) for a cost of $40.  These additional tests can be ordered at the time of your screening and LMC will accept cash or check.
