DESCRIPTION:We live in a time of high anxiety: We are uncertain about the future\, and there seems to be so much that needs to change\, and so little clarity on how to do it.  \n\nAnxiety and fear can\, not only paralyze us\, they can make us do things that add to the storm and stress we see all around us. \n\nBut a person at peace with God\, and with him/herself\, can change the world.\n\nWe will look at these 4 stories from the life of Jesus:\n\nWeek 1: At Peace with Our Family\, Luke 5:1-11\n\nWeek 2: At Peace with Our "Enemies"\, Luke 6:27-36\n\nWeek 3: At Peace with Our Neighbor\, Luke 10:25-37\n\nWeek 4: At Peace with God\, Luke 23:44-49\n\nEach story shows how we can have and share the peace that Jesus gives. Again and again\, Jesus entered situations where life was breaking down\, and he brought the power to change\, heal\, and give peace.  We can do that\, too\, when we learn how Jesus' peace begins with each of us\, right where we are.\n\nThis Bible study is for people who are brand new to Foundation Church - so y'all come\, and enjoy!  You can read the (short) Bible story before we meet\, or you can come\, listen to it read\, ask questions\, and pray with - or be prayed for.  We want everyone to feel at home\, and meet God in a new\, powerful way.\n\nThe Men will begin Tuesday\, July 7\, 7:00-8:00pm\, and will meet once a week for 4 weeks\, finishing on Tuesday\, July 28.\n\nThe Women will begin Wednesday\, July 8\, 7:30-8:30pm\, and will meet once a week\, for 4 weeks\, finishing on Wednesday\, July 29.
