ARTMAKERS BOOT CAMP "Spirit House"
From Japan to the backwoods of the American South, Spirit Houses (and other shrines) are made to pay homage to provide shelter for protective spirits, to honor the memory of loved ones passed, or to bring forth good luck.
You will build on these ideas to construct your interpretation of a Spirit House using wood, wire, fabric, memorabilia and found objects.
