Irmo Cherry Blossom Festival

Blooms of colorful cherry blossoms are a sure sign of the arrival of spring in the Southern region. The annual Cherry Blossom Festival of Irmo honors these beautiful flowering trees.

The celebration takes place in the oh-so-photogenic Irmo Town Park. Planted in 2001, the six Yoshino trees put forth an amazing bloom at their peak. In late March, the jewel-box Irmo Town Park comes alive with the exuberant pale pink blooms. The family-friendly festival features quiet picnicking, blossom-viewing, a drum circle, a Japanese Import car show, plein air art, handcrafted artwork, food and beverage vendors, and more.

This annual event, presented by the Town of Irmo, takes place at the Irmo Town Park on March 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. There is no rain date for this event. Picnics are welcome!
