Directed by Jami Steele Sprankle The Mary Poppins musical follows the Banks family in Edwardian London, where the children, Jane and Michael, have driven away their previous nanny. They get a new nanny, the magical and mysterious Mary Poppins, who arrives by umbrella to take charge.Through a series of magical adventures with her friend Bert, Mary Poppins teaches the children and their parents, George and Winifred Banks, the importance of family, joy, and seeing the wonder in everyday life. The story also includes the return of George's harsh childhood nanny, Miss Andrew, who attempts to take over, but Mary Poppins ultimately helps the family find their way back to each other, leading to a happy conclusion for George and his children.
