Vivaldi's Gloria performed by the Dutch Fork Choral Society

The Dutch Fork Choral Society presents the "Glorious Music!" of Vivaldi's Gloria with orchestral accompaniment. Antonio Vivaldi wrote at least three settings of the hymn Gloria in Excelsis Deo, whose words date probably from the 4th Century. Additionally, the Choral Society will perform other Christmas Carols from John Rutter, William Kirkpatrick, Mack Wilberg, and Ronald Kauffmann. The concert will be held Friday evening, December 4 at 7:30 pm at the Chapin United Methodist Church, 415 Lexington Hwy. in Chapin, SC. This event is family friendly and free to the public.
