Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007, Dee Dee Ricks inpsired the HBO documentary "The Education of Dee Dee Ricks," which premiered in October 2011. The story follows Dee Dee's journey of battling cancer while raising millions of dollars for other patients with breast cancer.
