Hyatt Place Columbia Harbison is hosting the 6th Annual Haunted Hotel. Proceeds from this event benefit CAMP KEMO Programs of Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital. CAMP KEMO Programs are a variety of psychosocial programs that were developed to meet the needs of patients, siblings and parents who face challenges created by cancer.
Hyatt Place is asking companies and organizations to sponsor a room, donate candy and/or volunteer for this event on October 15 so that the children from the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital and their families can have a safe and fun place to Trick-or-Treat. The company/organization can come in during the day and decorate their room. At 5:00 pm the children will begin to come in and have dinner in our meeting space and begin to trick-or-treat. This event lasts from 5 to 7 pm. At the end of the event, we will announce the winner of the best room that is voted on by the children! This event has been a great success in the past years, with around 125 children plus their parents coming to enjoy a spooky evening of fun and laughter.
If you are interested in sponsoring a room, please contact Traci Westmoreland at traci.westmoreland@hyatt.com for a sponsorship form and additional information on volunteering for this wonderful event!
