Lunch & Learn: Project SEARCH
Calling all local businesses in the Greater Irmo Community!! Project SEARCH needs you!
Come and learn about a local job skills training program helping to prepare young adults for employment right here in your community! Project SEARCH is a transition program for young adults with disabilities who are motivated and capable of gainful community employment. This program, a partnership with Lexington Richland District 5, SC Vocational Rehabilitation, and Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge, provides meaningful classroom instruction as well as over 300 hours of hospital internship training in a variety of job skills. Students exit with the experience, soft skills, and confidence to apply for and retain full-time employment in a variety of job sectors. We are looking forward to sharing more about our interns this year and how we can work together to prepare these young adults for the working community!
Come join us for a light lunch and learn more about Project SEARCH. You could make a huge difference in the lives of local District 5 students right here in the community while they learn important work skills so they can lead full, independent lives!
