Pyramid Contracting Announces Leadership Transition

Pyramid Contracting is pleased to announce a key leadership transition, with David E. Stewart promoted to Chief Executive Officer and Berry Ponder promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

“This was the right people at the right time,” said Founder and Owner Bobby Alexander. “Dave’s promotion to CEO is a natural progression. Over the last decade, he has consistently served as a leader for our organization, and this step reflects the role he has already been playing.”
Since joining Pyramid, Stewart has helped drive the company’s growth, strengthening operations, culture, and client relationships across South Carolina and the Southeast. In his new role, he will focus on maintaining the principles that define Pyramid’s success, quality, trust, and accountability.

Ponder brings a career defined by team leadership and operational growth, most recently as General Manager of Pyramid's Upstate office where he built both the region and the team behind it.

“Berry’s promotion is equally well deserved,” Alexander added. “He has built a strong team in the Upstate and brings both experience and the ability to inspire others.”
